Why on earth should you be travelling with ATAW?

Let's face it, we are a small company, we are just starting and we haven't won any fancy smancy awards (yet). But this is exactly, why we founded ATAW Travels.

The idea behind ATAW is to offer a trip that puts you in touch with the culture and people of the country you visit, to explore places off the beaten path and embrace experiences over visiting attractions.

We want to share the experiences we lived on our longterm travels through tours guided by ourselves. Offering a trip that allows you to really feel and get to know the culture and history of the country you’re visiting while enjoying its beautiful landscapes and getting to know its people.

Each route we offer, we have taken ourselves, eaten each dish and slept in every bed and probably got ripped off once or twice, all in the name of putting together the best possible experience - so you can have a trip to remember.

We do not only want to offer affordable group travel away from the usual touristy path, but also boost people’s confidence in themselves and support them in seeking adventure on their own.

We want to encourage everyone travelling with us to think outside of the box and embrace the unknown.

Lastly, it is also important to us that we preserve and support the countries and communities we visit. This is why, we work together with local projects and organisations, with the aim of giving back to the culture we are experiencing as travellers. No Hidden Costs

All activities mentioned in our itineraries are included in the tour price. There won’t be any surprise costs during your trip.

Low Travel Footprint

We prioritise overland travel to internal flights and plan our routes by regions, keeping our emissions low while immersing in our destinations.

Small Group Travel

We want these experiences to feel personal and unique, as if you were sharing them with your friends. So we’ve limited our groups to 12 people.

One of our core values is to travel responsibly, to respect and help preserve the places we visit.
